In this life, there is no shortage of self-help methods that promise improvement. Most of them ask you to look outward, gather techniques, and follow steps.

I found that lasting change begins in a different place.
It begins inside.

When you learn how to become your own best friend, you can take an honest inventory of your habits, your tendencies, and your real challenges. You can step back far enough to see what is actually happening. You can see what has been in front of you the entire time.

I believe that everything you need to succeed is already within you.
It was within me.
It simply took awareness to finally see it.

When you can be gentle with yourself
and honest with yourself
you will find the right path.
And once you are on the right path, lasting change becomes natural.

I wrote my book after I found that path, and it was my way of showing others how to find it.
